Pattern: Textured Shawl Recipe
Yarn: I lost the ballband so I can't remember, I think it was something by Plymouth? No, that's not right, I'm not sure what the hell it was.
Made For: Probably Me...the ultimate selfish knitter
Pattern: Bella's Mittens
Yarn: Cascade 109 or 128, don't remember which one. Either way it's lovely yarn.
Made For: Sissy
Pattern: Slouchy Copy Cat Hat
Yarn: Naturally Caron Country
Made For: Who else, Me
I like this yarn. A bit splitty but a lovely sheen and great yardage for the price.
Made For: Me
Yarn: Naturally Caron, Spa
Yarn is a tad splitty but I really like it. This one has even better yardage than the Country and is a little softer.
Pattern: Toast
Made For: Me
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool Merino
Fun, easy, fast. 3 of my favourite words when it comes to knitting.
Pattern: Give a Hoot
Made For: Me
Yarn: I think it was by Plymouth. Garrr I need to start keeping my ballbands or writing it down. My Mum gave me a really lovely knitting journal. I really should start using it. It's sitting right there on the shelf in front of me as I type this.
I made these ages ago but I don't think I ever showed them off. Poor little owls are still missing eyes. I can't find buttons small enough. My Mum had a great idea to sew eyes on with embroidery floss. I like it Mum, I really like it.

I'm glad to see you back! I'm sorry to hear you have been so unwell. You must be really happy to finally have a diagnosis. Now you can deal with it and move on with your life! That's a wonderful thing! Great knits! I need to get my butt in gear and start producing!
It's good to hear from you although you are going through tough times. Take care of yourself.
On the knitting side, it all looks so pretty... I really like your Bella mitten which is on my queue for this winter I hope, and the color of your Fetching is really nice - this is also a pattern that I am eyeing for quite a while too!
Take care and no pressure on updating your blog. It should not be a source of stress and you should do it only when you want to!
So sorry to hear about your health issues. But I hope you're able to feel better and that the knitting helps. That reminds me of another knitter whose blog I read; she suffers from a painful condition and says the knitting helps her so much.
Everything looks really lovely! Don't worry about not updating--blogging should definitely not be a chore. I should know as I haven't updated in months, lol.
You still have readers out here :-)
Hey there, I'm glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear that you have not been well. I hope things are improving now that you know what you are dealing with.
In terms of knits, lovely! I've had a textured shawl on my to-do list for a while now. I've always liked the pattern Toast as well. Beautiful!
Great projects. Nice to see you back as well. I'm very sorry to hear that fibro has become a part of your life. Have you read the book Fibromyalgia: The First Year by Claudia Craig Marick? It was really helpful for me (and incidentally, my mother) the first year. Take care.
